Eichi searched his memories for anyone named Kry.
After thinking for a full half minute, he finally remembered. This senior student Kry seemed to be ranked 40th in 5th Grade.
That was quite good by normal standards, but there was still a huge gap between him and Eichi.
Eichi had probably seen some of his previous battles. Yet he still dared to challenge him.
"Senior student Kry, why do you want to challenge me?"
Without even thinking, Kry replied, "Because Junior Student Ying Shi is strong enough."
Eichi: "?"
"Then why aren't you challenging students from your own grade? Why challenge me, someone a grade below you?"
"Senior student Kry, if I remember correctly, you were ranked 40th in 5th Grade last time, right?"
As he spoke, Eichi watched the other's expression.
Kry's expression shifted slightly upon hearing that, then he answered seriously, "Although I'm ranked 40th and not as strong as them, I think challenging them is pointless."
"They're too weak. Only challenging Junior Student Ying Shi is useful to me."
Eichi: "?"
What kind of logic was that? The words had left him somewhat dumbfounded.
During their conversation, a crowd of spectators had already gathered around them.
"I didn't expect someone to challenge Junior Student Ying Shi."
"Ever since he won the Cross-Country Race, hardly anyone in the entire academy has dared to challenge Junior Student Ying Shi."

Everyone discussed it among themselves. Most did not know him, after all. The academy had six grades and several thousand students.
Kry was only ranked 40th in 5th Grade and was not particularly famous. Unless they were in the same grade, few people would recognize him.
