The conflict between humans and soul beasts had never existed merely because Spirit Masters needed soul rings. The collision between the two races had begun in the Primal Era. Only the balance of power had changed.

Ever since the first Spirit Master with Innate Full Soul Power had accidentally absorbed a soul ring, Spirit Masters and cultivation techniques emerged, and the scales gradually began to tip toward humanity.

Humans built cities to resist the slaughter of soul beasts, yet evil soul beasts still launched raids.

Later, a clan possessing the Sacred Angel Spirit established a Church wielding sacred power. They led humanity against soul beasts and purified those with evil bloodlines, thereby earning the people's recognition.

Thirty Thousand Years ago, the Angel God emerged out of nowhere, allowing the humans of Douluo Continent to gain the upper hand against soul beasts for the first time. His Spirit evolved into the Six-winged Angel, becoming Douluo Continent's first God's Spirit and being passed down through the generations. To gain sufficient strength to battle evil soul beasts, he sacrificed the fertility of his own bloodline, making his descendants' bloodlines stronger and creating the legend of Innate Level 20 Spirit Power. Thereafter, humanity developed and multiplied step by step, gradually rising from a weak position to one of strength.
