Dark Domain

Within a magnificent yet gloomy hall, eight enormous stone pillars stood like they connected heaven and earth. On the surrounding walls, ghostly green flames flickered atop torches, lending the dark hall a faint glow.

At the center of the hall stood an ornate throne. Below it, six armchairs were arranged on each side, looking as though they had been casually bought from some furniture store, creating a strong sense of incongruity.

Seated on the throne was a young man with long dark-blue hair. He looked quite handsome, but the faintly discernible fluctuations of Soul Power within him revealed that he was a Title Douluo.

In the first seat below him on the left sat a beautiful maiden of about eighteen or nineteen. She had large eyes, curved brows, twin buns in her hair, a short top and skirt, and fair skin.

In the first seat below him on the right sat a slender woman with long black hair and purple eyes. Her Martial Soul appeared to possess the Dark Attribute.

Behind them sat five people on each side, men and women alike. All twelve armchairs were occupied.

"From this day forward, this Dark Domain will be the headquarters of our Dark Nebula Mercenary Group." The young man in the main seat rose to his feet and spoke loudly. "In the future, you may freely enter the Dark Domain with your access keys, but remember not to let outsiders discover it."

"Yes." A uniform chorus rose from below.

The young man nodded in satisfaction and sat back down. "A few days ago, we reached cooperative agreements with the Dawn Divine Kingdom and Immortal Palace Mercenary Groups. Together with the Sun Mercenary Group and Giant's Hand Mercenary Group, whom we had befriended earlier, we have now formed cooperative relationships with four Ruby
