Kakashi had been lying on the cold ground the entire time.

Fortunately, people came to the Memorial Stone every day to pay their respects.

Before long, a villager who had come to honor relatives and friends discovered the unconscious Kakashi.

As Konoha's famed Copy Ninja, Kakashi was recognized by most people, and he was hurriedly taken to Konoha Hospital.

The Third Hokage rushed over the moment he received the news.

"How is Kakashi? Why was he injured?"

The doctor treating Kakashi said, "There are signs of combat on Kakashi's body, and his Sharingan was gouged out."

The Third Hokage's heart tightened. Kakashi's Sharingan had cost a great price to obtain from the Uchiha Clan back then.

Just who had attacked Kakashi?

And Kakashi, an Elite Jonin, had not even been able to send out a signal!?

The Third Hokage's expression darkened. "How long until Kakashi wakes up?"

The doctor shook his head. "Kakashi suffered a severe mental blow. He was likely caught in a genjutsu. He will need at least three days before he can wake up."

"Are there any signs of a fight?"

The Third Hokage already had a faint suspicion.

The Anbu beside him hurriedly replied, "There are no signs of any fighting. When Kakashi was found, he was already severely injured."

A space-time ninjutsu?

With his wealth of experience, the Third Hokage immediately realized that only space-time ninjutsu could have produced such a result.

His first thought was whether the person who attacked Kakashi was connected to the one who had previously attacked Naruto.

They had yet to uncover the person who attacked the Jinchuriki, and now someone had been attacked within Konoha itself.

The Third Hokage felt an immense headache coming on. "Can we suppress the news?"

The Anbu lowered his voice. "Lord
