Amado was quickly brought to Konoha's interrogation room.

Though his hands were bound, Amado looked perfectly at ease.

When he saw Shikamaru enter, he said with slight displeasure, "At least give your guest a cup of coffee."

"I brought you information about Kara."

Shikamaru said coldly, "Don't get ahead of yourself. You should be grateful we even gave you a chair to sit on."

"What is your objective, and what information can you give us?"

Seeing Shikamaru's icy expression, Amado smugly replied,

"Didn't I tell you? Tying me up is pointless."

"In that case, how about I detonate the bomb around Shikadai's neck right now and show you?"

"Blow Shikadai's neck apart..."

Shikamaru gave a somewhat indifferent "Oh," then folded his arms. "Go ahead, then."

Amado raised an eyebrow. "You're quite tough, Lord Hokage."

"You don't care if Shikadai dies?"

Shikamaru sneered. "You won't do that. You absolutely won't."

"Because that would ruin the negotiation, and then death would be your only path."

"You didn't come here to die."

Amado looked at Shikamaru in surprise, then put on a fawning smile.

"Hahaha, Lord Hokage, you truly are wise. I was only joking. The bomb I put around Shikadai's neck was fake."

"It was merely a necessary measure to get a meeting with you."

Staring at Amado, Shikamaru said coldly, "Get to the point. My patience is limited."

Meanwhile, in the room on the other side of the wall, Shamu, Sasuke, Minato, and Naruto watched Amado through one-way glass.

An enormous number of Four Symbols Seal markings appeared in Minato's hand and spread throughout the room.

It made the already highly secure room even more completely sealed off.
