Kaede scratched her head in confusion. "Huh? Why?"
"What difference does it make?"
There was no need to explain too much to Kaede, so Shamu merely said casually,
"This has already been decided. Takigakure's village chief is on his way here. You'll understand once he arrives."
Hearing Shamu say that, Kaede did not dwell on it and instead asked, "The village chief is really coming here?"
"Yeah. Once your teammates return to Takigakure, I'll send you to meet him."
"Also, there are a lot of people in Radiance Hidden Village, and merchant ships travel to all sorts of places. You can make plenty of friends here."
"Oho! That's awesome!" Kaede immediately cheered, making Shizune beside her laugh.
Shamu instructed, "Shizune, have someone arrange lodging for her and take her around the food street."
Shizune quickly led Kaede out.
In that short time, Gaara had already sorted through his thoughts.
After all, he had been a Kazekage. The first thing he asked was,
"How is my father?"
Shamu shrugged. "Not good. Dead as a doornail."
Gaara's cheek visibly twitched.
He took a deep breath. "Why did Lord Shamu revive me?"
Shamu patted Gaara's shoulder.
"The Shinobi World is about to descend into chaos. Kumogakure has been completely destroyed."
"Hidden Sand Village is leaderless now. It needs someone capable to lead it."
"You can continue being Kazekage from now on. I won't interfere in your village's affairs."
"But you have to serve under me."
Gaara fell into thought for a while. Taking advantage of the moment, Shamu said,
"I've already revived Rasa with Impure World Reincarnation. His time should be running out."
"I'll take you back to see him first. Let him explain it to you."
Hearing that he could still see his father, Gaara looked somewhat invigorated.
