Shamu's tone was full of admiration.
Before him stood a massive transparent bio-cultivation tank. Inside was a round mass of flesh that trembled faintly.
Around the tank stood a ring of smaller cultivation tanks, each only a tenth of its size.
Orochimaru and Tsunade stood beside it.
Orochimaru did not look relaxed. Instead, his face was grave.
"The embryo in the center was developed through my research into Urashiki Otsutsuki's genes."
"I discovered earlier that the Otsutsuki genetic composition contains seven attribute transformations."
"Urashiki's genes are particularly unusual. Perhaps during the process of transforming from a biological life-form into a digital life-form—"
"If the transformation is completed, then just as you said, as long as the data survives, reincarnation can be carried out."
Shamu had not known Urashiki was in such a state.
From Shamu's understanding, the Otsutsuki who appeared later basically had no such thing as a soul.
Unlike the humans of the current Shinobi World, whose souls and bodies were two interdependent things.
Without a body, a soul could not remain in the living world for long.
But the Otsutsuki were different. The function of Karma clearly transformed their souls into Karma.
Put simply, it turned consciousness into a digital life-form.
Put even more simply, it was an upgraded version of Orochimaru's Cursed Seal.
Even if the body was destroyed, they could still be reborn through Karma.
Moreover, the Otsutsuki Clan had already perfected this ability.
If several Karma were thawed at once and one of them revived, the others would disappear.
There would be no issue of conflicting personalities.
It could be said to be perfect, with no aftereffects.
This method of surviving through reincarnation was
