Recently, he had used Summoning Beasts to stay in contact with the clan every day and learned that Fugaku had awakened.
Shamu finally breathed a sigh of relief. If Fugaku had died, it would have been far too great a loss.
Shamu had also learned from Itachi that Fugaku's eyes were nearly blind. He already had difficulty seeing and could barely make anything out.
Still, Fugaku was a Mangekyō Sharingan powerhouse after all, so it did not pose much of a problem in his daily life.
The issue now was that Itachi's physical condition had only just stabilized. If Fugaku's eyes were transplanted into him rashly now, Itachi's body might not be able to endure it.
Moreover, the process of fusing them into Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan was extremely valuable.
