Development of Radio Broadcasting

The coverage range of radio broadcasting towers had now exceeded 20 kilometers, which was very good news for Spain.

Especially for communication between the Iberian Peninsula and Morocco, Radio Broadcasting Technology would play an extremely important role.

The narrowest point of the Strait of Gibraltar was only 14 kilometers wide, placing it neatly within the coverage range of the current Radio Broadcasting Towers.

This also meant that as long as a large Radio Broadcasting Tower was built in mainland Spain, and countless Relay Towers were then used, Radio Waves signals could be transmitted to Morocco, allowing the people there to hear radio broadcasts from Spain as well.

Taking it a step further, small signal relay towers could be built on ships, or signal relay towers could be constructed directly at sea, allowing Radio Waves signals to be transmitted to the Balearic Islands and Canary Islands.

The geographical locations of these two regions were rather special. One lay roughly 100 kilometers east of the Iberian Peninsula, while the other was roughly 130 kilometers west of Morocco, making communication with mainland Spain far from convenient.

Since both regions were archipelagos, their economic development and population growth were somewhat restricted compared to provinces on the mainland.

If Radio Broadcasting Technology could be used to strengthen ties between mainland Spain and these two island regions, it would undoubtedly be good news for the Spanish government.

Radio Broadcasting Technology had now entered the stage of commercial application. As long as enough signal relay towers were built, signals could be spread to every region of Spain.
