Deep within the mountain range, amid what had once been an exceptionally dense forest, the scene was now a complete mess.

All the surviving Star Beasts had fled. They had been fortunate enough to be farther away, and when they rushed over, they witnessed that horrifying slaughter-like scene and immediately turned tail and ran.
The psychological trauma left behind was simply impossible to measure.
Wang Teng could not be bothered to chase them.
There were too many of them!
Besides, those Star Beasts had scattered into the depths of the mountains. As the saying went, snakes had their paths and rats had their burrows. There was no way to pursue them.

So, he could only vent his anger on the Explosive Flame Giant Ape. After all, it was the only Star Beast still alive, and as a mid-level War General Level creature, it was more resilient. Even after being tossed around by him like this, it had not kicked the bucket. Its vitality was quite tenacious.
The Explosive Flame Giant Ape was utterly despairing. With no will to live, it lay on the ground, staring blankly at the sky. Its eyes had lost all color, looking exactly like a dumb brute that had been thoroughly violated.
Weak!
Helpless!
And pitiful!
A dignified mid-level Lord Level Star Beast, once ruling over a
