The center of the maze was somewhat beyond Wang Teng's expectations.
After entering through the entrance and following a path for around a dozen meters without encountering any danger, he arrived at a place resembling the back garden of a palace.
Flowers and grass grew in abundance, lush trees cast their shade, and the scenery was breathtaking!
Yet that was not the strangest part. The most unbelievable thing was that when Wang Teng looked up, he saw that the originally gray, hazy sky had somehow turned into a brilliant, boundless starry sky.
Countless stars dotted the heavens, breathtakingly beautiful.
But the most eye-catching sight was still a massive planet, as though it were suspended directly overhead, occupying nearly half the sky.
"No need to be surprised. It's merely a small trick." At that moment, a calm voice carrying a hint of amusement came from nearby.
Wang Teng withdrew his gaze and turned around, only to see the baron reclining halfway on a comfortable lounge chair. He held a thick, ancient-looking book in his hand, while a small tea table beside him held hot tea and exquisite pastries.
Seeing such a scene within the Spirit Maze, Wang Teng could not help but freeze again.
This did not seem like something a dying man would do.
"What, do you find it strange?" The baron put down his book and smiled faintly, then said as if answering his own question, "If I didn't find something to occupy myself with, these million years would not have been easy to endure."
Wang Teng nodded and walked over.
"Have a seat!" With a wave of the baron's hand, a chair appeared out of thin air beside him. He extended a hand in invitation, treating Wang Teng quite courteously.
