After a brief bout of mindless screaming, the two women seemed to understand their situation and gradually calmed down.

Then one of them introduced herself as Empress Cheng of the Liyuan District and ordered Ashan and Feng Cheng to send her back to Harmony Fortress, the Mage Association headquarters in New Era City, within one day. If they did, she would forgive their ignorant offense; otherwise, death would be unavoidable.

The other woman also confirmed that Empress Cheng was genuine.

Feng Cheng himself had not expected that he had actually brought back an empress. He had thought their earlier words were merely some sort of flirtatious game.

But whether she was an empress or not was completely irrelevant to Feng Cheng. What he cared about was what exactly this "Disaster Cannon" he had heard about was.

Yet when questioned, Empress Cheng stubbornly refused to say anything and even denied the existence of such a "Disaster Cannon."

So Feng Cheng brought Empress Cheng over to chat with Zhi Peng. Before long, Empress Cheng became Zhi Peng's good friend, telling him everything and baring her heart.

In just over two hours, Zhi Peng obtained information about the "Disaster Cannon" from Empress Cheng.

Zhi Peng's face was full of disbelief. "The Eighteen Empires actually have a weapon capable of destroying an entire city?"

Feng Cheng said indifferently, "It's not that impressive. It's only destroying a city. Using Source Pearls to do that isn't difficult."

Zhi Peng's expression turned ugly. "But they plan to use such a weapon to destroy a city—to wipe out everything in it, including the citizens living there!"

Feng Cheng chuckled. "Zhi Peng, you've been the head of the Radiance Society for so long, yet you still know nothing about war. Don't look at your enemies through those 'merciful' eyes.
