After thinking it over, he Teleported to the Small World where the humans were held and began using the ability of 'Good Friend,' testing whether these humans could become his friends.
He soon discovered that the ability had truly failed.
He returned to the Second-Level World and found Su Hao. "Boss Wei, I found that the Source Ability 'Good Friend' has lost its effect on the Giant Dragons and humans of this world. Do you know what's going on?"
Su Hao nodded. "I studied this before. It has to do with this world's Soul Power. I specifically ran tests. It wasn't just the ability 'Good Friend' that had lost its effect—almost all 'spells' that altered the consciousness level had become ineffective."
Feng Cheng could not help raising his brows. In his understanding, Source Abilities that altered consciousness were nearly the strangest and most unsolvable abilities. So long as the activation conditions were met, almost no one could resist the Corrosion of such Source Abilities. They could be considered abilities on the level of rules.
Yet he had never expected that such rule-based abilities would lose their effect before the humans of this world.
He could not help asking, "How could that be? Could Soul Power resist Source Abilities?"
Su Hao shook his head. "Not exactly. When you use a Source Ability, the Source Ability does take effect. But the Soul Mages of this world are rather special. Their consciousness no longer fundamentally exists within their brain tissue, but within their Soul Power. Put simply, consciousness exists within Soul Power, and Soul Power carries that consciousness while attaching itself to the brain.
"They may look much the same, but the order is different, and that directly
