Formal Declaration of War

After the bombardment, Mogadishu city's old port was a scene of utter devastation. Even the merchant ships operating there had suffered considerable losses.

The naval department in particular was thrown into turmoil. Archduke Ferdinand flew into a rage, but he had no mood to further investigate the losses of the Mogadishu Navy. This British fleet was clearly coming for East Africa, and barring the unexpected, it would likely use the cover of night to creep toward the East African eastern coast.

This meant that the first battle of this war had begun with the navy. What followed would be a hard fight for the East African Navy.
