By the time the swords were finally reforged, they encountered three people and then faced the pursuit of the entire city, forcing them to band together to fight.
Morin, who witnessed this scene from the rooftop, was quite speechless.
Although he knew that given the Phantom Troupe's nature and the crew's personalities, trouble was bound to happen sooner or later.
He hadn't expected them to cause so much chaos in this small city right after leaving Meteor City.
"Looks like we can't stay here anymore?"
Looking at the flames burning below, the damaged vehicles, and the sound of explosions, Morin couldn't help but shake his head and turn to leave.
He had no intention of jumping in to help or clean up their mess.
Whoever caused the trouble should bear the corresponding consequences.
Besides, with the four of them's alertness and strength, they could still escape.
Well, they would probably get injured.
When the four returned to the independent space of the Door of Nothingness, they were all covered in the smell of smoke and gunpowder.
"Hahaha, that was exhilarating! These past few days have been truly exhilarating, hiss..."
Uvogin, who was about to recount his spoils from the past few days, suddenly frowned deeply.
"Don't move!"
Machi, who was stitching Uvogin's wounds, said calmly.
Of the four, Uvogin had attracted the most hatred and sustained the most serious injuries.
Feitan and Machi were very calm and understood the situation.
Nobunaga had joined later and attracted far less attention than Uvogin.
"It seems our journey in this city has come to an end."
Chrollo closed his book, his expression indifferent, clearly having already considered this possibility.
"I didn't plan to stay here for this long anyway."
Morin looked at himself and couldn't help but smile.
His trump cards had increased considerably.
For him, time was equivalent to strength and trump cards.
"So, what's our next move?"
Machi asked, biting off the thread she was using to stitch Uvogin.
The latter winced in pain.
"If the spiders are missing legs, they certainly won't get far," Chrollo smiled. "I plan to find five more members."
"Do you want to come with me?"
He looked at everyone in the room.
"What does this mean?"
Nobunaga asked, confused. "You want to go together? Are we splitting up?"
"That's right."
Chrollo continued to smile lightly. "The original intention of founding the Troupe was for our better development, not to bind and restrict us."
"We are all different individuals, and while keeping the overall goal the same, we each have our own pursuits."
"What I hope for is that each of us makes significant progress and that the Troupe flourishes, rather than becoming mere subordinates to the Troupe."
Chrollo stated his stance.
The others listened and fell into thought.
"I'll go with you."
Franklin raised his large, thick hands.
"If the people I find don't meet my requirements, I won't let them join."
Feitan also walked to Chrollo's side.
"Besides, it would be too ironic if something happened to the leader while he was out and about, after the Troupe has finally been established."
Feitan said, and a glint of fire clearly flashed in his eyes as he looked at Chrollo.
"You just want to spar with the leader, don't you?"
Machi said calmly, crossing her arms.
"You could say that?"
Feitan turned his head away.
"After all, Specialist Nen users should be quite rare in this world, right?"
Feitan narrowed his foxy eyes slightly. "I want to see what makes Specialist Nen different from the abilities of other categories."
"Is it that rare?"
Uvogin and Nobunaga glanced at Morin, Pakunoda, and Chrollo, tilting their heads in unison.
After all, within their small Phantom Troupe, there were already three Specialist Nen users.
"Why don't you want to spar with Pakunoda and the Vice-Leader?" Nobunaga asked, hands clasped behind his back, tapping his sword against his shoulder.
"It's obvious from a glance that Pakunoda's Nen isn't designed for combat and isn't very suitable for fighting. As for the Vice-Leader..." Feitan shot a glance at Morin standing there before quickly looking away, stating decisively:
"I don't know why, but I always feel like fighting the Vice-Leader would be incredibly boring."
047 Pakunoda's Following
Incredibly boring?
Uvogin and Nobunaga thought back to the scene in the abandoned factory where Morin had subdued his opponent with the Float Gun, nodding in deep agreement. Abilities that used such magical items were indeed quite unbeatable, making one feel stifled.
Although Uvogin and Nobunaga hadn't seen Morin fight seriously much, they could tell from his Nen that Morin was definitely not weak. Both of them had actually wanted to spar with Morin for a while, to see how far they were from the level of skilled Nen users.
But the thought of having to break through the layers of items Morin had set up before even facing him...
Forget it.
The two shook their heads in unison internally.
Who knew how many items with various strange and peculiar effects Morin had at his disposal.
This kind of fighting style didn't even interest Uvogin, a battle maniac, and he even found it disgusting.
As for asking Morin to fight without his items, that would defeat the very meaning of the battle.
It would be like telling Uvogin not to use his fists or Nobunaga not to use his sword.
Nen abilities were the trump cards of their users; how could they be forbidden from using them?
Whether an ability was strong or weak, tricky or difficult to deal with, these were things to be considered during a fight.
It doesn't matter if a cat is black or white, as long as it catches mice, it's a good cat.
No matter what kind of Nen ability it was, an ability that could win in battle and serve its purpose was a good ability.
But if Uvogin and Nobunaga had to face Morin...
Well, they'd rather not.
They wanted to hone themselves, but that didn't mean they wanted to seek suffering for no reason.
"I plan to go to Heavens Arena," Machi said, stroking her hair as if using small gestures to hide something.
"It'll be a good place to meet more people and sharpen my combat skills."
I bet you just want to fight and make money there, Morin thought to himself.
"That's great!" Uvogin exclaimed, clapping his fists together with shining eyes. "I was thinking of checking that place out too!!"
"Since we have our identification now, we can sign up," Nobunaga mused, stroking his slightly stubbled chin. "There must be a lot of swordsmen there, right?"
"What about you?" Machi asked Morin, who was standing there. "Are you coming with us?"
"I will," Morin replied with a smile, shaking his head. "But not right now."
"What do you mean?" Machi asked, her tone unchanged, but she wanted an answer from Morin.
"I want to go and experience this world first," Morin said, a glint of excitement in his eyes.
"There are so many interesting places in this world waiting for me to see!"
"And there are also many incredible secret realms and magical beasts waiting for me to explore and capture."
"If possible, I'd love to catch a dragon and stew it to taste."
Hmm, the Zoldyck Family seems to keep dragons. If it's convenient, I'll see if I can ask where they caught it.
"If you make it into a dish, remember to save me a piece of meat," Uvogin said, never one to be polite with Morin when it came to food.
As for Morin having such an idea, Uvogin found it quite normal, at least much more normal than most people from Meteor City.
"What about you, Pakunoda?"
Chrollo looked towards Pakunoda, who had been silently standing there as if deep in thought.
"Are you coming with us?"
"No, I don't think so."
To Chrollo's surprise, Pakunoda shook her head.
She then turned to Morin:
"I plan to follow the Vice-Leader for a while."
Follow me?
Morin, who hadn't paid much attention, was slightly taken aback.
"Is that so?"
Chrollo's gaze flickered between Pakunoda and Morin before he nodded.
"You're not good at fighting. I originally wanted you to come along so I could ensure your safety."
"If you're with Morin, then I won't have to worry."
Chrollo's reasoning was simple, purely from the perspective of ensuring the safety of his members. After all, he was a very rational, terrifyingly rational man.
