Black looked at the rewards for these commissions.
Added together, they had actually reached a staggering two hundred thousand Galleons!
"So, no matter where you are, illegal stuff is still more profitable."
Agatha smiled. "Only you could take on so many commissions. Anyone else..."
"Even if they didn't die halfway through the jobs, the fines would bankrupt them."
"What if they couldn't afford the fines?"
"Then they'd have to pay with their lives."

"What next? What should we do? Go complete the commissions directly?"
Black looked at the several commission slips in his hand and asked curiously.
Agatha pointed behind the knight statue.
There was a long service window there.
To Black, it looked like a ticket window at a train station.
A great many people were lining up there.
"Whether you're submitting a commission or accepting one, you have to go there for confirmation."
Then, to avoid attracting attention.
The three of them each lined up at a different window.
One person taking three difficult commissions would not actually draw much attention.
After all, they might be accepting commissions on behalf of their own organization.
But if one organization accepted more than ten commissions at once, that would be rather exaggerated.
So, it was better for the three of them to line up separately.

Before long, it was Black's turn.

A shrill voice came from inside the window.
Black looked inside.
Then he saw an elderly House-elf.
Unlike other House-elves, this one did not have that timid, subservient look in his eyes.
Instead, his gaze was somewhat sharp.
He looked like someone who would be hard to deal with.
"I'd like to accept commissions, thank you."
