"Ryan, you'll soon understand that resistance is useless."
Cassano raised a hand and shouted, "Numbers 14, 15, and 17—Frost Torrent!"
The purple-robed female mage named Amber had a vacant look in her eyes. The red collar around her neck flashed faintly, and she raised her arm, icy cold ice-elemental energy gathering at the tip of her staff.
Whoosh! A torrent of ice surged forth.
Two more ice torrents burst forth at the same time from the left and right, cast by the other controlled Arcane Hall Purple-Robed Mages.
Ryan stood at the center of the three Frost Torrent attacks.

"I understand now! The seniors of the Arcane Hall haven't truly surrendered!"
Ryan shouted, "They were merely controlled by Feludo through despicable means! The spells they cast have no Spirit Energy lock-on. They can be dodged just like arrows!"
Following Ryan's shout, Sadogo and the others calmed down considerably. They cast acceleration and weight-reduction spells one after another, evading their opponents' magical bombardment.
Sadogo sneered. "Now this is interesting. Our magic can
