The Deep-Sea Great Prison slowly retracted its sea-surface landing platform and submerged into the depths.
The Quinjet flew from the Pacific Ocean toward the United Kingdom.
Inside the Quinjet, Bucky opened the weapons and equipment Steve Rogers had prepared for him. He fitted on his Vibranium arm, donned a skintight Vibranium protective suit, and pulled a black combat uniform over it.
"Who are they?" Steve Rogers, seated at the Quinjet's controls, looked at the lower-left screen and watched the Deep-Sea Great Prison slowly retract its landing platform and sink into the Pacific Ocean.
Even Bucky, the prisoner, could tell that Bob had been replaced. That showed just how brazen the people who had swapped out the Deep-Sea Great Prison were.
As Steve Rogers spoke, he began contacting Nick Fury.
"I don't know." Bucky flicked the Vibranium suit with a finger and praised it as cool before his expression darkened. "Bob was a fanatical admirer of yours. Whenever he had free time, he came to me and asked me to tell him about my experiences with you.
"But one day, when he saw me, he didn't come over to ask me about you."
"I sensed it too." Steve Rogers spoke gravely. "The difference in his behavior before and after was too great. He couldn't answer a single one of my questions correctly."
"If that was a disguise, it was a terrible one." Bucky sat broadly in the other pilot's seat and gazed out at the sky ahead.
"That proves they're ready. They can't even be bothered to hide anymore," Steve Rogers said thoughtfully.
"Or maybe they've already concluded that you can't do anything to him," Bucky said.
"What do they want to do?" Steve Rogers pondered deeply before raising another question.
"Buddy, that's a prison. No greedy, lustful person would go
