The key was location.
Unlike Earth's Five Continents and Four Oceans, Otherworld had only one vast, boundless main continent.
Like ancient Earth's Pangu Continent.
The Monster Mountain Range lay in the southeast of the main continent, not far from the coastline.
But this coastline was utterly unlike similar regions on Earth, which were dotted with natural harbors and blessed with abundant fisheries.
Because the entirety of Otherworld was saturated with Spiritual Energy.
This made the frequency and intensity of extreme weather here ten or even a hundred times greater than on Earth.
All year round, the sea was filled with Stormy Waves infused with violent Spiritual Energy.
Under the ceaseless pounding of the tides day after day, gentle mudflats and fine harbors were rarely seen along the coast.
Everywhere stood sheer cliffs, hundreds of meters tall, smooth as mirrors.
At Dragon City Civilization's current technological level, it would be difficult to cross such cliffs directly and develop ocean resources on a large scale.
It was even less possible to bring tens of millions of people to migrate to barren islands deep in the ocean.
This meant Dragon City Civilization could run away, but its home could not; it had to defend the Monster Mountain Range to the death.
Unfortunately, Turanze surrounded the Monster Mountain Range from both the northeast and northwest.
To the southeast lay an impassable sea.
To the southwest was the territory of other Chaos Races.
Dragon City Civilization had crossed straight into a dragon's pool and a tiger's den.
If it wanted to establish contact with the Land of Eternal Holy Light at the center of the main continent,
Dragon City Civilization's tentacles would have to stretch across all of Turanze, risking having its throat seized and its claws chopped off by the High-Level Orcs at any
