Most British Navy warships were equipped with anti-aircraft defenses. When facing attacks by German military carrier-based aircraft, they at least had some ability to fight back. But French and Italian warships had no anti-aircraft defenses whatsoever. They could only watch helplessly as German military carrier-based aircraft launched their attacks.

"Damn the British! Just as expected, they cannot be trusted. Why didn't they warn us in advance to equip anti-aircraft weapons?" Admiral Lame roared furiously.

The German Navy's Carrier-based Aircraft Unit also discovered that the French and Italian Capital Ships seemed to have no anti-aircraft weapons. At once, those Carrier-based aircraft descended upon the Capital Ships like sharks that had caught the scent of blood.

After all, sinking British Capital Ships was no different from sinking French or Italian Capital Ships. As long as those Capital Ships were sunk, the German Navy would gain an even greater advantage in the coming clash of Capital Ships.

Thus, nearly all the remaining Carrier-based aircraft still carrying bombs and Torpedoes charged toward the French Navy and Italian Navy.

"Commander, the German aircraft have shifted their main attacks to the French and Italians." Vice Admiral Beatty looked
