The fierce exchange of fire continued. The Capital Ships on both sides fired desperately, hurling heavy shells at the enemy warships in an attempt to sink them and win the battle.

The German Navy's Battleship Kurfürst Friedrich Wilhelm and Battleship Brandenburg were tasked with dealing with the British Navy's Battleship Colossus and Battleship Dreadnought.
