The Battleship Vengeance was accelerating in a desperate attempt to escape. With forced ventilation pressurizing her boilers, her speed had risen to 23 knots. This was already the maximum speed the Battleship Vengeance could manage.

Unfortunately, the German Navy battleship Bavaria was pursuing her relentlessly. Compared with the Battleship Vengeance's maximum speed of 23 knots, the Bavaria-class battleships could reach a maximum of 24.5 knots. For such enormous battleships to attain that speed was undoubtedly a miracle. Of course, that was mainly because the Bavaria-class battleships were equipped with Germany's most advanced boilers and Steam Turbines. Otherwise, there was no way they could have achieved such speed.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The battleships Bavaria and Vengeance were exchanging fire. Heavy shells, driven by tremendous kinetic force, slammed savagely into the opposing warships.

However, when warships were sailing at high speed, the hulls pitched and rolled more violently, severely affecting their accuracy.
