Boom! Boom! Boom!
The German Navy's nine battlecruisers were raining shells upon the Island Nation Navy's armored cruisers. Those once-arrogant armored cruisers now seemed like helpless little quails, utterly incapable of resisting, left only to be slaughtered by the German Navy.
Boom!
A 343mm Shell fired from the battlecruiser Moltke struck the Island Nation Navy's armored cruiser Asama. This armored cruiser, which had been in service for sixteen years and displaced over 9,700 tons, seemed utterly fragile before a massive battlecruiser. The shell hit Asama's forward main gun turret.
The 152mm-thick main turret armor was no different from paper before the 343mm Shell and was easily torn apart. The shell exploded inside the turret, destroying it completely. As for the gunners within, they were blown to pieces at once.
Fortunately, the shells inside the turret had already been fired and there was no ******, so no further damage was inflicted upon the armored cruiser. But after losing one of its only two main gun turrets, the armored cruiser's firepower was immediately halved!
"Damn it! The Germans are still closing the distance. We're only 5,000 meters apart now. If this goes on, won't our warship be blasted clean through by the Germans' battlecruisers?" Colonel Yoshioka Hansaku, captain of the armored cruiser Asama, wore a helpless expression. It was not that they were unwilling to fight desperately; the gap in strength between both sides was simply too vast! Such a gap was enough to fill every officer and sailor of the Island Nation Navy with despair.
However, Colonel Yoshioka Hansaku's helplessness did not last long. Two minutes later, the battlecruiser Moltke struck the armored cruiser Asama once again. A shell pierced the conning tower armor, slaughtering Colonel Yoshioka Hansaku and all the other officers.
Soon after, another shell punched through Asama's side
