Background / History

Ajiu originated from the Eevee Elf Breeding House in Wutong City's Dacheng District. It secretly left the facility with Asan and Awu, but the three were separated in a crowded snack street after following different food scents. 112

During the typhoon, Ajiu navigated through the rain toward a breeding house, collapsed outside Lin Feng's shop with a fever, and pawed at his pant leg for help. Lin Feng dried its fur, warmed it, and fed it Emerald Napa Cabbage Juice. 111 112

Though initially frightened by an unfamiliar human, Ajiu became anxious for its missing companions as soon as it recovered. Lin Feng used Evergreen Power to calm it and view its memory of the separation; Rotom later confirmed that Asan and Awu had been found safely. 112

Ajiu wanted to remain with Lin Feng but did not want to abandon its closest friends. Lin Feng promised to bring Asan and Awu to his Breeding House as well, and Ajiu agreed to become his Pokémon while enthusiastically eating his Energy Cubes. 114

Appearance

As an Eevee, Ajiu was notably small—about half a normal Eevee's size—with glossy fur, tender ears, a dark-tipped tail, a white neck mane, and a soft pink nose. Its eyes were large, round, and black. 111 112

After evolving, it became a pinkish-white Sylveon with pale-blue eyes, ribbon-like bows around its ears and neck, and long flowing ribbons. Its former fluffy coat became shorter, finer, and densely smooth. 372

Personality

Ajiu is shy and initially wary of unfamiliar humans, but it quickly responds to patience, warmth, and good food. Its concern for Asan and Awu outweighed its own desire to stay with Lin Feng, showing a strong attachment to its companions. 112 114

Despite being the youngest of the original three Eevees, Ajiu is the bravest. It is playful and somewhat mischievous, including covering its face with its tail before suddenly revealing a grin when preparing for battle. 185 194

It is enthusiastic about Sylveon and eagerly explained its evolution, attributes, and strengths to Asan and Awu before they chose their own paths. Its decision to evolve came from a desire to grow stronger and better confront Dragon-type opponents. 190 371
