Two days flashed by.
Early that morning, the thin mist had just begun to disperse when a streak of green light suddenly tore through the rosy clouds, plunging downward at an inconceivable speed before abruptly stopping above a patch of wasteland.
As the green light receded, it revealed a tall, gaunt old man in green robes, with green hair and iron-blue skin. Thousands of emerald rays shimmered around him, each transforming into phantoms of herbs, plants, vines, flowers, and other such phenomena.
This man was also known as King Vine. His true form was an ancient spirit vine that had lived for an unknown number of tens of thousands of years, and his cultivation was unfathomable.
On the surface, he was the leader of an extraterritorial bandit group. His true identity, however, was that of a menial elder of Myriad Stars Palace.
He was not the only one. The leaders of the other bandit groups were also members of Myriad Stars Palace. Acting under secret orders from above, they had deliberately disguised themselves as extraterritorial bandit groups and come to the Big Tree Realm to steal and fell Divine Wood.
Two green lightning arcs shot from King Vine Old Demon's eyes as he swept his gaze back and forth over the wrecked ground below. Seeing the vast amount of scattered cypress splinters, his face darkened further. Killing intent shone from his eyes, and the terrifying aura pouring from his body sent the surrounding air into violent tremors.
Seeing that the culprit had vanished without a trace, King Vine Old Demon suddenly turned toward the Rising Dragon Mountain Range and roared through gritted teeth, "No matter who you are, I will make sure your soul and spirit are annihilated, never to be reborn!"
With a cold snort, he abruptly transformed into
