The Beginning of the Great Battle

Several dozen days later, Fallen Immortal Sea, Qiong Sea Star.

Upon the vast sea, the waters were murky as ink. Demonic fog filled the sky and blotted out sea and heaven, with not a living creature in sight!

Deep within the demonic fog, an incomparably enormous demon octopus waved countless gigantic tentacles, splitting the mist as it flew toward the center of the sea.

Xue SuSu stood alone atop the demon octopus's head, a faint divine light flickering in her eyes as she seemed lost in thought.

Zhao Sheng and Wu Yue sat cross-legged separately on either side, constantly sensing every disturbance within a thousand li around them.

"Daoist Friend Wu, have you noticed? There are quite a few Demon Puppets beneath this stretch of sea..." Zhao Sheng said as he gazed at the boundless waters below.

"Damn it, more than quite a few? They're piled up into mountains and scattered everywhere! Looks like the Otherworld Demon Race has turned Qiong Sea Star into a nest for breeding cannon fodder. If I'm not mistaken, these ghostly things aren't just all over the seabed beneath Fallen Immortal Sea. The same must be true beneath the other seas as well," Wu Yue cursed, his face full of disgust.

Divine light flowed through Zhao Sheng's eyes as he nodded thoughtfully.

The Otherworld Demon Race excelled most at "ant-sea" tactics. It was not difficult to understand why Qiong Sea Star had now become a breeding ground for Demon Puppets.

"Though Qiong Sea Star is important, there should be no more than three Void Realm Demon Old Ones stationed here, and likely not a single Void Realm Demon Emperor. It should not be difficult to handle," Zhao Sheng said calmly, withdrawing his gaze.

"That may be so, but this place is still within the Demon
