Eerie Beings Attack

After the incident in the Lesser Underworld, the kings returned to their original topic: capturing Chu Feng as a son-in-law. To avoid marrying into some divine monkey, divine ox, or divine horse clan, Chu Feng had no choice but to ask Jiudao Yi to propose to the Zhou Family on his behalf.

Naturally, the Zhou Family had no objections. Though Chu Feng was somewhat unreliable, his talent truly ranked him first among the younger generation of the heavens. He could be called an emperor's son, and he was more than worthy of their Zhou Xi.

Just as the wedding reached its climax, a discordant voice came from the horizon.

"Today truly is a fine day. The heavens are declining and are about to end. Are you trying to use this wedding to ward off misfortune?"

"Who dares disrupt this?" an Immortal King roared. Today was not only Chu Feng's joyous day, but also the wedding day for many of their descendants.

A gray-robed young man strolled over with his hands behind his back. "Me? I am one of the Eerie Beings you speak of, though that term is rather disrespectful. Lower lifeforms like you should address us as the God Clan."

He swaggered into the Heavenly Court and appraised the newlyweds. "Mediocre, ordinary, bland... Tsk, tsk. I really should not have expected too much from lower lifeforms like you. I had originally planned to take one or two brides as maidservants."
