A small tavern in Zanga.
The elf dragged the bag of gold coins in front of the Dwarves over to herself. "You lost. She didn't help her."
She dragged over the second bag of gold coins as well. "It wasn't even midnight before she got it, and she even stole one and got two free."
Dwarves: "I'd rather steal her away. So, when she gets discovered, are you going to save her?"
Zhuri crossed her legs, utterly unhurried. "She won't be discovered." That little apprentice could block divination, most likely because of those two magical items of hers. But this wasn't the place to discuss such things, so she did not elaborate.
The moment Yu Xunge learned Unregistered Identity, she abruptly stopped, turned around, and flew back to Margot's lounge. She pushed the door open again, flew past the bathroom where the shower was running during the final twenty seconds of her invisibility, headed straight for the bedroom, and burrowed beneath the bed.
The instant she crawled under the bed, a sense of security surged through her. How should she put it? It actually felt like returning home!
Feeling at ease, Little Oak Owl immediately used Unregistered Identity and turned into... a silkworm.
A year ago, one of her extracurricular assignments had been raising silkworms. Her contact time with them had far exceeded twenty-four hours.
This was the safest identity. It was also, relatively speaking, the safest place.
Once they discovered the skill was gone, this building would definitely be searched. If there was anywhere likely to be overlooked, it would be the scene of the crime itself!
After repeatedly using Stealth and Unregistered Identity, both of which consumed HP, Yu Xunge felt mildly hungry and weak. But it was bearable, and she diligently crawled deeper beneath the bed.
