My advice is not to use that skill in Moonlight Wetland, because if the matter is serious, the teachers there will spare no expense to investigate."
Yu Xunge had the nagging feeling that this "serious" was hinting at something.
It was like what Zhuri had said before: "Most won't be able to enter the academy to study."
Was I Want to Improve So Badly serious?
Once or twice might not be serious, but after enough times, even something minor would become serious.
Wanting a clear answer, Yu Xunge pressed, "What counts as serious? Murder?"
She did not list several options and then cleverly add "theft" herself. A little trick she had learned at Thief Bug Tavern was that if she wanted information to go unnoticed, she should never speak of it from the start, in any form.
Zhuri did not know whether she had seen through her apprentice's little ploy, but she apparently had no intention of exposing it. She answered directly, "Murder, theft, and deprivation are all unacceptable. Fraud is fine. The academy rather welcomes talents for fraud; they can help train the hatchlings."
In the end, she summed it up bluntly. "In short, early-stage Moonlight Wetland will not accept anything hatchlings cannot handle."
Yu Xunge keenly picked out a piece of information. "Late-stage Moonlight Wetland and other academies will accept them?"
Zhuri said, "Yes. Once they reach fourth grade, Moonlight Wetland accepts transfer students, because they believe fourth-year
