With only three minutes left on the countdown overhead, Yu Xunge stopped at what seemed to be the very center of the city. Towering buildings surrounded her, while a fountain stood at the center of the crisscrossing roads. On the platform in the middle of the fountain lay a sleeping... Karakara??
What made Yu Xunge stop was the fountain full of blue cubic crystals. Every crystal was roughly the size of a coin, no bigger than her thumbnail...
This place looked exactly like a wishing fountain.

That confirmed her guess. These coin-sized blue crystals were this world's currency. According to the information she had found, only items related to the final score could not be touched before the game began.
She did not understand why this game had Pokemon, much less why an ordinary Pokemon like Karakara had been placed in the middle of the city as the turtle in a wishing fountain.
