Kiki's past is tied to abandonment, institutional hardship, and conflicting identities. In a mental-world interrogation, records identify her as Zhao Enqi and describe Zhao Lu as her biological mother; she was left at Yulan Orphanage, ran away at age eight, taught herself programming, survived through scams and ATM theft, and was imprisoned nineteen times over six years. The same records identify her biological father as a man surnamed Wen, chairman of Linglong Group. 79

Kiki later tells Lin Xian that Wen Qi is her real name. She is described as the illegitimate daughter of Linglong Group's chairman and retains an inheritance claim and senior Dawn Project status, despite having little attachment to the Wen family. 31 309 311

Before joining the Infinite, Kiki and her father traveled by helicopter toward the Dawn Project's Underground City No. 9 near Mount Daluo. The helicopter crashed; she survived, fled toward Lin Xian's home, and initially pretended to be unconscious because she mistook him for a threat. 24 26 50
