Seeing Harry act as if no one else were there, the Dursley family felt insulted.
What was wrong with Harry today? How dare he ignore them and even refuse to listen to Petunia?
Dudley, who loved bullying Harry most, was the first to walk over. He reached out, intending to shove Harry.
"Cousin, you actually dare disobey Mum? Go cook right now!"
But just as his clammy palm was about to touch Harry, Harry gave a slight wave of his hand. Dudley felt as though a tremendous force had struck him in the chest and toppled him to the floor.
At that sight, the Dursley family suddenly fell silent. Even Dudley, who had been knocked down, looked utterly lost. Only Harry continued sipping his juice and picked up a piece of white bread dipped in sauce.
From Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia's angle, they had not seen Harry's movement just now.
They merely assumed Harry had shoved Dudley hard enough to knock him to the ground, and both of them immediately grew furious.
Uncle Vernon's face twisted with rage. His already bloated, fat-packed face became even uglier as he rushed forward, intending to grab Harry by the collar and teach this insolent brat a lesson.
"Looks like I haven't taught you a lesson lately, boy!"
Harry remained unmoved in the face of Uncle Vernon's fury.
The face that had once terrified him beyond measure no longer seemed like much.
Compared to those bloodthirsty demons, Uncle Vernon was practically too kind!
But Harry would not allow Uncle Vernon to touch his collar. He hated being grabbed by the collar and hung up; it made him feel like an owl caught by a hunter.
So Harry waved his hand again, and a fleeting golden magic circle seemed to flash across it.
The enraged Uncle Vernon was immediately lifted by the collar by an invisible force and swung back and forth against the ceiling and walls.
The scene was too bizarre, and the Dursley family could not help screaming.
"Ahhh! What's happening? Put me down!"
"Dad! Dad!"
Petunia was frantic. Then she noticed Harry still calmly eating his white bread and immediately realized he was behind it.
That was right. Of the four people present, Harry was the only one likely to possess a wizard's talent!
Only he could do something so unbelievable!
Petunia wanted to seize Harry and force him to stop the spell, but she quickly realized that Harry was no longer someone she could threaten. She immediately stopped herself from lunging at him and instead blustered, "Damn it! You never went to that freak school, so why can you use magic?
"Put him down! Put Vernon down!"
Harry raised an eyebrow. Aunt Petunia did not seem surprised by his power; she was only puzzled about why he could use it.
Could magic exist in this world too?
Thinking of the magic power that had awakened when he first arrived in New York, Harry instinctively felt that things were not so simple.
It seemed that the world he had originally come from possessed extraordinary powers as well.
Harry had only wanted to teach Uncle Vernon a lesson, not do anything serious. After all, the Dursley family had raised him for eleven years, so he withdrew his telekinesis.
Once his feet touched the ground, Vernon felt his stomach churning violently, and he nearly threw up.
He shakily pointed at Harry, wanting to curse him out.
"You... you... you..."
But when he saw Harry about to raise his hand again, Vernon immediately shut up. He merely sat in his chair, gasping heavily and glaring fiercely at Harry.
Such an "adorable" glare was naturally no threat to Harry, who had slaughtered hundreds upon thousands of demons.
The Dursley family fell into silence once more. Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia looked at Harry as he ate his bread, their expressions complicated.
As for Dudley, who had always loved bullying Harry, he was already scared witless and nearly wet his pants.
After swallowing the last bite of bread, Harry picked up a napkin and wiped his mouth. Then he turned to Aunt Petunia.
"All right, my dear aunt. It seems you've been hiding many things from me, and we need to have a proper talk.
"Tell me everything about my parents, hmm... and the magic you mentioned, as well as that so-called freak school."
Seeing Harry's lofty manner, Petunia was extremely displeased.
"You wretched little thing. Just like Lily, always wearing that smug look.
"Fine, fine, I'll tell you everything. Your parents weren't ordinary people. They were wizards, and that freak school is called Hogwarts. It's a school that trains wizards."
"Wizards?" Harry ignored Aunt Petunia's displeasure and murmured to himself.
At last, he understood where the magic power inside him had come from. His parents had been wizards, so had he been born with magic power?
But learning this only gave him more questions. "Then where are my parents?"
Petunia's expression darkened slightly, but she still snapped sharply.
"Those freak parents of yours were killed by a Dark Wizard. Damn it, do you know how much danger we risked by taking you in?
"For the first two or three years, we barely dared sleep, terrified that the Dark Wizard who killed your parents would come and kill us too. And today, you used magic against us!"
Aunt Petunia craned her long neck, clenched her fists, and looked deeply aggrieved and furious.
Harry froze. He truly had not known about any of this, and it improved his opinion of Aunt Petunia considerably.
But his attitude toward Uncle Vernon and his cousin Dudley remained unchanged. After all, he knew that the Dursley family had most likely taken him in only because Aunt Petunia had demanded it.
Harry was silent for a moment before asking curiously, "My mother was a wizard. As her sister, weren't you one as well?"
Harry's words were like a sharp dagger stabbing into Aunt Petunia's chest. Ignoring her fear of magic, she cursed angrily.
"Your mother was a big freak, and you're a little freak. How could I possibly be a freak like you?"
Seeing Aunt Petunia's reaction, Harry nodded. He had already roughly guessed what she was thinking.
Aunt Petunia had most likely envied his mother and wanted to become a wizard too. But she lacked the talent to become one, so she was deeply jealous of his mother.
That also explained why Aunt Petunia had treated him so badly.
But understanding was one thing; it did not mean Harry would forgive them.
After all, eleven years of bullying and humiliation were not something he could simply forget.
Harry tapped his fingers lightly on the table. A mischievous smile tugged at his lips as he thought of a solution that would benefit both sides.
"Aunt Petunia, don't be so hasty. Perhaps I can make all of you into mages," Harry said calmly.
"Who wants to become a mage? I don't... Wait, what did you say?" Aunt Petunia stared at Harry with wide eyes, unable to believe it.
Even Uncle Vernon and Dudley, both still terrified, reacted the same way.
If they could truly wield mysterious magic, who would refuse? Who could refuse?
Noticing their reactions, Harry became even more certain of his guess. Then he revealed a mischievous smile.
"However, gaining magic power requires paying a price. That's only fair.
"But you'll need to sign a contract with me!"
