Han Wu was utterly speechless at Master Ou.

And he had claimed he had been here before?

Yet when asked, he knew nothing at all. Who was he trying to fool?

Before them stood an unknown door. Perhaps beyond it lay a path to survival.

Han Wu glanced at Qin Shuang, seeking her opinion.

Qin Shuang said, "I'll listen to you. If you say open it, then we'll open it. Whether there's an exit or danger beyond, I'll face it with you."

Han Wu was moved. He truly wanted to kiss Qin Shuang.

Then Master Ou behind them stepped forward and added, "Me too."

Han Wu instantly lost all interest.

With such a glaring third wheel beside them, even if he did not mind, Qin Shuang certainly would.

Suppressing the distracting thoughts in his heart, Han Wu looked at the door before him.

"Then let's open it!" Han Wu said, shoving hard against the door.

Qin Shuang hurriedly raised the Thunder Feather Blade and assumed a defensive stance.

Master Ou also hefted the Divine Weapon Forging Hammer, standing ready for whatever lay beyond the door.

Yet no matter how hard Han Wu pushed, the door did not budge in the slightest.

He then tried pulling it, but the result was exactly the same.

The door seemed to have been locked shut.

At last, Master Ou could no longer stand watching. He shouted, "Let me do it!"

Master Ou took Han Wu's place, gripped the Divine Weapon Forging Hammer, gathered all his strength, and swung a thunderous, heavy blow at the door.

With a boom, the forging hammer struck the door, and both panels trembled violently.

Large amounts of stone chips and dust fell away, revealing the door's true surface beneath.

It was not a stone door, but two metal doors.
