The night was deep.

In a forest somewhere in the Land of the Moon, a middle-aged ninja with graying temples leaped through the trees.

Explosions continuously sounded from not far behind him. His eyes darkened, and gritting his teeth, he increased his speed once more.

In Danzo's eyes, the greatest mistake he had made in his life was believing the nonsense spouted by that group of friends.

When they were young, Akimichi Torifu told Danzo that what he hated most was snacks, but if Danzo had too many snacks to carry, he could help take some.
