Killer B's Predicament (First Update)

(PS: There was an error in the previous chapter. Motoi was not the Eight-Tails Jinchuriki's son; rather, his father died at the Eight-Tails' hands. Ahem, I misremembered. It has been corrected.)

Turtle Island was enormous. As the group ventured deeper, the black giant spikes grew fewer and fewer, and before long, they entered a dense forest.

It was truly hard to imagine such a vast forest surrounded by giant spikes. Even harder to imagine that this forest grew atop the shell of a colossal turtle.

Massive trees several meters thick stood all around them, vines tangled densely through the undergrowth, and moss carpeted the ground. It was somewhat like a primeval forest.

Just as Motoi curiously looked around, danger suddenly descended!

"Roar—!"

The giant trees ahead suddenly shook, as though something were charging toward them.

Judging by the roar alone, it was definitely huge.

Motoi pulled a Kunai from his Ninja Pouch and assumed a defensive stance.

Soon, an enormous black figure charged out, sending trees flying amid deafening roars!

It was a gigantic gorilla, more than ten meters tall, like a small mountain.

Nagasawa raised a hand to stop Motoi and smiled. "Relax, there's no danger."

Not only Nagasawa, but even Nozawa and the other Jonin who had led the group earlier made no move. Clearly, they were long used to this sort of thing.

Sure enough, when the gorilla was still more than ten meters away, it suddenly slammed on the brakes, its feet carving a long "skid mark" across the ground.

"Cough, cough."

Clouds of dust billowed up and enveloped everyone. Motoi could not help coughing several times, but his coughs quickly turned into cries of alarm.

The huge gorilla stretched out its right hand and grabbed him.
