Looking at the man in the mirror, Chen fell into deep thought.

They were in a field hospital on the battlefield, where it was impossible to find a mirror. But that little Uchiha Clan girl loved looking pretty, so she carried a small mirror with her. Chen simply took it from her.

But that was not the point. The point was that the man in the mirror... obviously still had his own face, yet looked to be around forty years old.

Combined with the twin-tailed girl's shout, Chen suddenly understood the era simulated by Naobi God's Genjutsu... It was not a simulation of his own future. Through some form of manifestation, it had turned him into Kagami's father—Chen's own grandfather.

This experience was not bad, actually. Chen had been born in Konoha's twentieth year, so he had never seen the Konoha of the past.

With that thought, Chen glanced at the small mirror again and sighed. "Even at forty, I'm still this handsome."

"Cough, cough..." The little girl who was eating an apple choked and could not help coughing.

Chen patted her back to help her catch her breath, then tossed the small mirror back to her.

The little girl hurriedly caught it. After shooting Chen a vicious glare, she carefully tucked it into her Ninja Pouch.

"Who gave it to you? Why do you treasure it so much?" Chen could not help asking.

Chen was an expert in such matters. Those sharp eyes of his would not miss a little detail like that.

"N-No one!" The little girl stopped eating even her apple and clutched her Ninja Pouch tightly, as though Chen would snatch her mirror away at the slightest disagreement.

"Don't tell me Kagami gave it to you?" Chen revealed a mischievous smile.
