Peter watched the swarm of spider-wasp monsters charging toward him, his gaze sweeping back and forth warily. Based on spider-wasp habits, these things probably possessed abilities that naturally countered spider totems.
But on further thought, only female spider wasps were responsible for reproduction. These guys were probably just worker wasps. And judging by his weak Spider-Sense, they likely did not possess much power.
At the same time, the spider-wasp monsters gave Peter little time to think or analyze. Wielding bats, machetes, and similar weapons, they rushed him. After shouting, "Stop them!" Peter began brawling with the mass-produced monsters.
"So you're the ones who have been preventing spider totems from being born across the various universes? Are you Shathra's followers, or something worse—her lackeys?!"
Bioelectricity flowed around Peter's fist, erupting with tremendous force and smashing one spider-wasp monster into the wall. He then fired webbing, snagging a spider-wasp monster rushing at Cindy and violently slamming him into the one embedded in the wall. Then mechanical claws shot out, locking around the third enemy's body from behind as he tried to ambush Peter.
