After Peter and Miguel had waited for quite a while, they finally confirmed one thing: absolutely nothing had happened.

"That's not right. Even setting aside every unexpected factor, Cindy's earlier condition proved that this place couldn't possibly have nothing going on."

Thinking of Cindy's earlier state, Peter could not help frowning. He then looked at Leopardon as he approached. Even putting aside the Inheritors and the Web Gods, Shathra's influence on Cindy had undeniably been real.

Yet even Shathra's situation was so quiet now. Something had obviously gone wrong.

"Then... should we take a look?"

Gwen asked tentatively, "I ran in to take a look just now, and it didn't seem like much. Maybe I could go in again?"

Peter shook his head. Gwen's abilities might have kept even Shathra from noticing her, but that was hardly a reliable method. He had nanobots form a spider-shaped reconnaissance robot and sent it into the temple. "Let's use this to check out the situation inside first. Wait a moment. Let's head back to Leopardon first; it's safer inside."

When Takuya Yamashiro saw Peter and the others return, he looked at Gwen in confusion. "When did she get here? Oh, wait, has she been inside Leopardon the whole time? Why don't I remember her at all?"

Because he probably really did not remember. Everyone had forgotten.

While silently grumbling to himself, Peter stood off to one side and projected the robot's footage onto Leopardon's screen, letting everyone see what Shathra's temple actually looked like.

Through the robot's camera, they saw the inside of the temple. Like something out of Egypt, its walls were covered in murals, most of them depicting Shathra's past. The central tale was that the great Shathra had created a space where all souls could grow without interfering with one
