Robert Reynolds, better known as Bob, was perhaps even more famous by his superhero codename: Sentry.
With the power of a million exploding suns, he was second only to Galactus as the ultimate target for concentrated fire in team battles. His established power level was absurdly high, yet he seemed to have no brain of his own. Aside from his own father's solo comics, he was like a mindless humanoid weapon in every comic universe, moved wherever he was most useful.
Usually, he was not a weapon on their side, but the enemy's. And whenever he was on their side, his performance tended to fluctuate unexpectedly.
But regardless, Peter had other things to do. He had never considered that this place might have anything to do with Sentry, for a simple reason—any version of Sentry appearing at this point in time was far too early. Besides, the Erskine Serum's power was limited. He had never imagined it could produce Sentry.
The essence of the Erskine Serum was "enhancement through inducement," granting the human body the ability to undergo genetic changes. For example, Captain, Luke Cage, Cloak and Dagger, and Mister Negative all drew their powers from the inducements within their hearts. Lizardman, Ultimate Doctor Octopus, and Peter himself, on the other hand, had gained theirs through the inducement of other biological DNA from the Savage Force Project.
And without question, Bob had nothing in his body except this specially modified Erskine Serum, supposedly a thousand times more effective. But surely adding together a thousand Captains would not turn someone into Sentry? That would be far too strange.
"Uh, so what happened? How did I end up here? Did I get myself into some kind of trouble?"
"Simply put, you were deceived. You did not come here for a medical experiment,
