Jiang Yan Hai smiled. Though he felt uncomfortable, he had gotten used to it every day. He went outside to use the restroom, got dressed, then took out his phone and checked it. There were no messages, which meant there was nothing urgent today.

Still, he could think about how to handle logistics. In fact, there were domestic examples to refer to regarding logistics.

The Joint Logistics Support System that had initially been restructured domestically was essentially a reform. In other words, it was no longer like the large-scale army group operations of the past.

For example, a mechanized division contained not only mechanized combat units, but also logistics support units, communications units, and so on.

Logistics support included things like the Kitchen Squads assigned to each company. All of those counted as logistics support. Of course, there was also the more important logistical support for weapons and equipment, which had previously been handled by each division for itself.

After the reform, however, logistics became more specialized. The Joint Logistics Support Force was established directly, meaning that this logistics support force specialized in logistical support and did not participate in combat.

Combat, meanwhile, was handled by specialized combat units. The two sides were completely separated. Of course, they could not be said to be entirely separate, since they still needed to coordinate with each other in daily operations.

But in logistics support, they could study more specialized skills on a daily basis, such as rapid battlefield deployment and rapid repairs.

It was actually like the detailed division of military branches in the past. Professionals should leave professional work to professionals. In mechanized units, tank crews also had to learn some tank repair, maintenance, and upkeep, but those were only the basics.
