"Thanks." Jiang Yan Hai thanked the other person, packed up his things without further ado, grabbed his bag, and ran.

As he ran, Jiang Yan Hai felt utterly speechless. Fan Tian Lei was such a damned schemer, screwing him over completely. He had never been late for school since childhood, let alone skipped class.

That guy had only told him to report in today. He never said there would be a class today—or that it would actually begin today. Jiang Yan Hai did not want his first-ever absence to happen here.

Jiang Yan Hai was incredibly fast, though he could not push himself to his absolute limit. Even so, he drew countless stares along the way.

Ten minutes later, Jiang Yan Hai rushed into Teaching Building No. 3. After finding Classroom No. 12, he knocked on the door and called out loudly, "Report!"

Through the glass on the door, he had already seen the lecturer teaching at the podium—a major general.

He felt a little depressed. This time... he would probably get chewed out by a superior. Teachers here were not ordinary university professors. This was a military academy! The teachers here were probably even stricter than his high school teachers.

"Come in!" The lecturer's voice from inside was quite mild.

Jiang Yan Hai took a deep breath. Whether it was a blessing or a curse, he could not avoid it. He pushed the door open and walked in.

The instant he entered, Jiang Yan Hai's entire body stiffened. Two words immediately surfaced in his mind: What the hell~~~! Drawn out with that sort of tone, too!

Because... there were around thirteen or fourteen students seated below... and more importantly, every one of them had a gold star on their shoulders! All their gazes instantly focused on him.
