Jiang Yan Hai had thought Li Ruo Bai would come tomorrow, but he hadn't expected her to arrive today. Hound noticed Jiang Yan Hai's look, but he did not understand what it meant.
"Mm, I should be somewhere close to you. Wait a moment—I'll send you my location shortly. I need to handle something here first," Jiang Yan Hai said quietly to Li Ruo Bai.
"Okay." Li Ruo Bai agreed, and the two hung up.
It was not that Jiang Yan Hai did not want to see Li Ruo Bai. Rather, he did not want her involved in his mission. Although this mission was not particularly dangerous, he felt it was better to keep public and private matters separate. As he had always said, everything had rules. One could not abuse power and break those rules.
