Aurelian had a long dream. In it, she sat in a Screening Hall, with a wooden table for playing Hearthstone before her and a huge pile of food beside her.
She happily collected every golden card in Hearthstone, watched the movie through to its final scene, then filled her stomach without caring about anyone's stares.
But at the end of the dream, Joshua appeared before her and handed her a bill. The moment Aurelian saw the amount she had to pay, she jolted awake.
"Was it just a dream?"
Aurelian covered her forehead, where a thin layer of sweat had already formed.
"Elder Sister Aurelian, you're awake?"
A familiar voice sounded beside her. The moment Aurelian saw the familiar person, the panic in her heart was instantly soothed.
"Wen Naen, where are we?"
Aurelian glanced around. The place where she lay was definitely not her room, and perhaps not even Aserkelo.
The architectural style of this room was completely different from Aserkelo's.
"Nolan." Wen Naen placed a cup of hot milk by Aurelian's bedside.
"No... lan? That human city?"
The instant Aurelian heard this, even her lingering sleepiness vanished. She immediately sat up in bed.
"Why are we in a human city? Could it be..." The terrifying stories Elder Enya had told surfaced in Aurelian's mind again. "Were... were we sold to humans as slaves?"
"Would slaves possibly live in such a nice environment?"
Joshua pushed open the door and walked in. The High Elf young lady immediately wrapped herself in the blanket, looking ready to die rather than submit.
"Looks like I'll have to let her guardian explain." Joshua leaned helplessly against the wall beside the door as Elder Queitoan walked straight into the room.
After seeing Elder Queitoan, she gradually calmed down.
"Listen, Aurelian... our homeland is facing
