Joshua watched the rearview mirror outside the Magic Mechanical Vehicle's window as the towering Sage's Tower gradually receded into the distance.

"I didn't understand a thing you were discussing."

Ciri sat in the passenger seat, dozing off. She had been running back and forth with Joshua for two straight days and was starting to get sleepy.

Human constitutions were far inferior to those of Chaos Demons, especially when it came to resistance to fatigue.

"If you're tired, Ciri, you can get some sleep first."

Joshua glanced at Ciri beside him. Nolan's season was gradually entering the height of summer, yet even while sleepy, Ciri had not entered her Cotton Quilt Spirit state.

"Where... are we going?"

Ciri rubbed her eyes and looked out the window. Joshua did not seem to be heading back to the Hearthstone tavern.

"The White Thorn Flower Theater. I'm going to discuss filming a new movie with White Thorn Flower Jazz."

"Have you already thought of the script?"

The moment Ciri heard the words "new movie," her drowsiness was instantly swept away, as if she had heard a spell that could refresh the mind.

"I've only decided on the subject matter."

Joshua held the steering wheel with one hand and took out a blueprint left behind by the Black-robed One with the other. It clearly detailed the various experiments for a Magic Automaton called Heart Lock.

"This is the intruder you encountered in the Consciousness Space?"

Ciri took the blueprint from Joshua. Its contents had all been translated into the Continent's Common Language by the Black-robed One.

"Humans in the past used it to control their emotions. I think it was meant to ease the fear brought by Things from Beyond."

Joshua had already read through the blueprint once, further confirming that his plan was feasible.
