Joshua arrived at the White Thorn Flower Theater near dusk. When he saw White Thorn Flower Jazz, his first reaction was... he had lost weight.
White Thorn Flower Jazz had always seemed slightly plump to Joshua. Recently, as the White Thorn Flower Theater and Nolan National Theater had steadily grown in popularity, White Thorn Flower Jazz's weight had shown signs of skyrocketing.
Joshua had worried that his weight would ruin his future acting career, but today, White Thorn Flower Jazz's rapidly rising weight had finally dropped.
He also seemed much more haggard. The dark circles beneath his eyes were obvious, and the exhausted expression on his face seemed to say, "I haven't slept in nearly a week."
"Mr. Joshua..." White Thorn Flower Jazz walked over after seeing Joshua, forcing out a smile.
"Jazz, do you need me to find a priest to sprinkle you with holy water or something?" Joshua asked.
"Holy water?"
"You look like you're being haunted by some ghost or monster."
Joshua's words gave White Thorn Flower Jazz a terrible fright. He looked around to make sure nothing strange was clinging to him, then sighed in relief.
"Uh... you look like that script scared you pretty badly?"
Joshua had guessed why White Thorn Flower Jazz was so haggard.
"This... no! I merely realized something from the script for The Shining that you gave me."
White Thorn Flower Jazz shuddered as he said that.
"What did you realize?"
Joshua thought it was normal enough to discover life's truths from watching Shawshank Redemption, but having The Shining alter one's values was a serious problem.
"We cannot see those ghosts, those... unclean things, but they truly do exist." White Thorn Flower Jazz deliberately lowered his voice, as if afraid someone might overhear him.
"So is it possible that they are
