"Amusement park..."
Marshal Amut repeated the unfamiliar term Joshua had just used.
"Your Excellency Joshua, is this another... name for the Hearthstone tavern?"
Marshal Amut had not come to Nolan many times, but quite a few of his children were studying there. When he had first arrived in Nolan with Shael, Marshal Amut had felt as though he had already become an outdated old man.
Fortunately, his children had taught him how to use the magic web, allowing Marshal Amut to barely keep up with Nolan's trends.
Marshal Amut had thought he understood most of Nolan's new things, yet he had never heard of an amusement park.
"There is a great difference between an amusement park and a tavern, but they serve the same purpose."
Everyone at the peace conference turned their attention to Joshua. Negotiation was not Joshua's specialty, but selling dreams certainly was!
When Joshua felt everyone's gaze upon him, he realized this might be the perfect time to sell them a dream.
"Who has a map of the Frost Country, or the Frost Plains?"
Joshua asked around, and Marshal Amut took out a strategic map of the Frost Plains and handed it to him.
From a geographical perspective, the Frost Plains were a basin. Space on the other side of the basin had warped, causing the border of the Demon Realm to appear along its edge.
The plains were also absurdly vast.
"Blue Robe, can you determine the range affected by that gate?" Joshua asked.
Deep-blue runes appeared at the tip of Blue Robe's index finger. He used it to draw a circle over an area covering nearly half the plains.
"I can only estimate the range roughly based on landmarks... The gate's influence is continuously spreading toward Bastion Fortress and the Demon Realm."
