Earl Cruz felt that Joshua's first two projects already had a joking element to them.

He roughly estimated the resources needed to build the Merry-Go-Round and Ferris Wheel. The Merry-Go-Round would be relatively easy; half a month would be enough to build one.

As for the Ferris Wheel...

If Earl Cruz had to pay out of pocket to build such a "wonder," and its only purpose was to look at distant scenery, he would definitely be heartbroken enough to convulse!
