Someone Else's Cat

When Joshua used his brush to finalize the designs of Cat and Mouse, the white cat Avatar of the World Tree beside him curiously jumped onto his desk.

The white cat's paws stepped in the paints Joshua had placed on the table. By the time it reached the sheet of paper in front of him, colorful paw prints resembling little fleshy pads had already appeared across the desk.

Tylinn hurriedly picked up the white cat. It struggled a little, but remained in her arms and watched the animated characters Joshua was drawing below.

"Mr. Joshua, are you drawing something similar to the White Cat Race...?"

Holding the World Tree in her arms, Tylinn studied the two animated characters Joshua had drawn.

They both had hands, stood upright, and possessed rich facial expressions.

"In the world of animation, these two are just ordinary house cats and mice. They're called Tom and Jerry. They're only a little smarter than usual... well, extremely smart."

Joshua carefully recalled the Cat and Mouse cartoons he had watched as a child. Tom and Jerry had done practically everything in those animations, from traveling into outer space to outwitting aliens, to performing symphonies in magnificent theaters.
