Zhi Ye sat at the library's long table in her pajamas. A glowing flower rested on the table, casting a soft light over her cheeks.
She was staying up late to write. Ever since Arl and Aurelian's success had spurred her on, she had realized that she should do something for her people too.
Zhi Ye was not much of a singer, and she probably could not win over Magic Web Vision viewers through Selling cuteness like Arl. So lately, she had been trying to build a following through writing.

Zhi Ye browsed the novel she had written on the Immovable Library. Inspired by The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, she had written a mystery novel titled Buried Deep Under the Tree.

A voice interrupted Zhi Ye's thoughts. She turned around and saw a hunched-over elf.
Zhi Ye immediately waved her hand and closed the Magic Web before her.

Zhi Ye rose from her seat and bowed to the elderly elder before her.
The leader of Capeas, the oldest of the five surviving High Elf clans, had once been the most authoritative elder in all of Aserkelo.
But ever since the Chaos Demon Joshua had appeared in Aserkelo, more and more young High Elves had begun to side with the Reformists, led by the three elders Sindonal, Queitoan, and Enya.
The Capeas and Prona clans, meanwhile, were staunch Conservatives.
This elder, perhaps the oldest and strongest High Elf still alive, had always opposed outsiders setting foot in Aserkelo.
Yet after the High Elf council meeting a month ago, Elder Capeas's attitude had gradually shifted from "resolutely opposed" to "wary of outsiders."
