Though she had the nickname Little Cat, Gutaya was a powerfully built female beastfolk who had spent her life among the Black Pigeon organization on Squirrel Street.

She simply was not very good with words. And Thousand Faces, her boss, had treated her well enough to give her an alchemy shop to manage.

The beastfolk living in Nolan were divided into two factions. The first was the sewer rats led by Beauty Gutama. Though these beastfolk also belonged to Black Pigeon... they had no idea what rules even were.

The mines beneath Nolan were their stronghold. Back when Squirrel Street was still a chaotic mess, these beastfolk often got up to some outrageous business.

The other faction was made up of beastfolk on Little Cat Gutaya's side. She was Beauty Gutama's older sister, and she looked after the sick, weak, and elderly among Nolan's beastfolk, as well as those who wanted to stay away from conflict.

Beauty Gutama had once mocked her sister, saying she was like a little cat whimpering in an alleyway, waiting for someone to take pity on her. That nickname had spread from there.
